Our Curriculum

Little Lambs Daycare is a non - profit childcare centre licensed under The Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 for the care and guidance of children. Our mission is to develop a caring community where all children can grow in a healthy safe environment supported by qualified staff members.

We believe that children learn through play. We believe that young children learn through hands on experience and participation, therefore, we provide opportunities for children to select, explore, and practice various skills through a variety of materials and prepared activities. We believe in the development of the whole child; social, emotional, creative, expressive and cognitive selves. We encourage independence, tolerance, responsibility and respect for others. We focus on social skills, early literacy skills, and expressing ideas as well as gross and fine motor skills. We believe in building relationships and providing environments to support that growth. We provide enriching experiences that allow children, families and educators to feel a sense of belonging, engage in our program, express themselves as individuals through various mediums and establish a positive sense of self, health, well-being and self worth.

Little Lambs Daycare is licensed for 24 Preschool children (2 ½ to 6 years), 15 Toddlers (18 months to 30 months) and 6 Infants (birth to 18 months).
